3 March 2014     Kuala Lumpur
It was another outstation work, again in Kuala Lumpur but this time in INTAN. This was my very first time in this institute. There are two. The first one is obviously old. The second one is modern and naturally everyone loves to be there in Mount Kiara. But since I have been to neither, I did not mind if I visit either of these two. I was not sure how to get there. So for the first few days I went by taxi and arrive early. Going back to the city centre, I caught the bus and the LRT. The bus would reach a traffic light junction where many people will get off. Then I would follow the shaded pathway to the Universiti LRT station. The Universiti LRT station is next to the Pullman hotel. It is called Universiti LRT station because it is near to the Malaya University medical faculty and also her own teaching hospital.  If you were to take the bus until you reach Sentral, that would be night time when you arrive because along the way, the traffic is heavy. For the last day, I use the LRT and the bus to get to INTAN. This old INTAN is situated inside Jalan Ilmu. Don't expect the taxi drivers to know its' whereabouts. On the first day when I took the cab from Sentral to INTAN, the cab driver initially refused to go up to where the lobby of INTAN is. Yet I bought the cab coupon from the Sentral station. Then after a bit of talking, he hesitantly drove me up. KL this time was filled with haze. But my co workers and I managed to do what we can before presenting our different ideas. I flew home on the 8 March and when I took the cab home, the driver asked me if I knew what major event had happened in Malaysia. I had no idea. Then he told me that in the early morning of the same date, one of the MAS planes had crashed. From then onwards the news has been making headlines. Hopefully there will be an end to the saga when concrete evidences show up.
